Blauer

Blauer was founded in Boston in 1936 by Louis Blauer to make technical clothing for the police, the navy and the armed forces. At Il Botteghino in Lipari you will find a selection of Blauer women's down jackets, men's jackets, a hoodie and backpacks for the cold season.

For women there are down jackets: Sawyer combines matte neoprene with glossy nylon, and Kristin is a long style with removable genuine raccoon fur, both filled with 90/10 down. Velly is made of glossy velvet with iridescent highlights. Charme, Arcadia and Aldie complete the range, in sizes XS to L. For men there are Adams and Bryant with Sorona® Aura insulation, Charles with Repreve® insulation made from recycled plastic bottles, and the Acton and Wave down jackets with 90/10 fill, Wave with wave quilting.

Beyond outerwear we carry the Colby scuba hoodie and three backpacks: one in faux leather with pockets, a vintage-look faux leather style with multiple pockets and one in Cordura® nylon with a reinforced, waterproof bottom. Prices range from €65 for the Cordura® backpack to €498 for the Kristin down jacket. In 2001 the Italian group FGF Industry signed a license agreement with Blauer, and in 2017 it acquired a 50% stake in the brand.
