About Blauer
Blauer was founded in Boston in 1936 by Louis Blauer to supply technical clothing to the police, the navy, and other armed forces. Starting in the 1950s it began producing its own garments; those mentioned in its history include jackets, softshells, bombers, anoraks, and down jackets. In 2001 the brand signed a licensing agreement with the Italian group FGF Industry, which acquired 50% of it in 2017.
