About Roy Roger's
Roy Roger's was born in Florence in 1952, when Francesco Bacci signed an agreement with Cone Mills in New York and, with his wife Giuliana, made his first jeans from American denim: according to the brand's history, the first made in Italy. The name comes from a late 19th-century American tailor who sewed work overalls for California farmers. Roy Roger's is still a family business, now run by the third generation. You can spot a Roy Roger's by the black triangle on the back pocket, the brand's signature from the start.
